About the Event
Meet at Summit train station at 10:30am to take the 10:46am train to Penn Station or meet at The Morgan Library (225 Madison Ave.) at 12:00pm.
There is a nice cafe and gift shop at the Morgan to amuse us until our 1:30 guided tour. If you prefer to eat at a restaurant nearby (5 minutes from museum), Franchia Vegan Cafe (12 Park Ave) is recommended. The cost of lunch is not included in this ticket.
This tour is limited to 20 people. Once tickets are purchased, Wendi will connect us all to determine our plans for getting to the city and lunch!
If group tour tickets are sold out, you can still purchase a regular timed entry ticket and attend the free public tour at 12:30pm.
EXTRA CREDIT: You may find it interesting to read this historical fiction book about the Morgan Library prior to the trip: The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray.
