Theatre Service

Please join us for our 2023-2024 Theatre Season. Two times this upcoming club year, we will venture to NYC for a popular show. Matinees are usually at 2:00 (we meet at Twin Maples at 10:15am) and we are back in Summit in time for dinner. These theatre days always bring the excitement of NYC and Broadway along with time to enjoy lunch (pay by cash day of) with old friends, new friends or both.

 

Dates for the season are:

• FALL 2023 - October 25, 2023 – ‘New York, NY” St. James Theater, 246 W 44th St.

• SPRING 2024 - Date TBD – Show to be announced

 

Cost of 2 Plays: (includes the $75 cost for bus) $350.00

 

* Theater Service Applicants must be members of The Fortnightly Club of Summit. Theater Service accepts theatre applications as they are received. One family member or aide may join the theatre group with you (please mail the applications together).

** This is an estimated cost of the 2 plays

*** Bus departs from Twin Maples at 10:30 AM which allows ample time for lunch before show time (normally 2:00 PM). Bus leaves immediately following performance and returns to Twin Maples by approximately 6:00 PM. Bus has rest room facilities.

 

THEATER MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE------Early September, 2023
