Announcing the Manley-Winser Scholarship
The Fortnightly Club of Summit is pleased to announce a new scholarship, the Manley-Winser Scholarship, open to any female Summit resident who will be attending a 2-year college, 4-year college, professional, technical or trade school. Eligibility for the scholarship is based on financial need, academic merit and personal essay.
This scholarship is made possible by a generous grant from the Manley-Winser Foundation which was established in 1975 by Gerald H. Winser and Marian Manley Winser to benefit the residents of the City of Summit.
“We are thrilled that the Manley-Winser Scholarship will be another way that the club can help and recognize female Summit seniors for their hard work and dedication,” said Amanda Ford of The Fortnightly Club.
The Manley-Winser Scholarship of $5000 will be awarded this year to one or two recipients. The number of scholarships and dollar amounts may vary in future years. For any questions regarding the scholarship, please contact fortnightly.scholarship@gmail.com.
