As we embark on our second year as a combined club, we celebrate all that we accomplished last year and look forward to an even more successful year ahead.
Last year was a year of growth, learning, and community-building as we all figured out how to combine two women’s clubs into one. Our goal at the end of the club year was to have greater club engagement on the board and committees. We are happy to say that we have a few new faces in several roles this year! It’s a terrific opportunity to get to know the club better, to get to know your fellow club members better, and it helps to spread the workload so no one person or committee is overburdened.
The 2022/23 Membership and Theater links are below. Online registration is preferred. Please complete your membership application no later than September 15th. Two separate Constant Contacts will be sent with the applications as well.
The following committees are listed on the Membership Application; everyone is asked to get involved.
Constant Contact: Help with distribution of club communications.
Social Media/Publicity: Promote club activities through photos and written content.
Hospitality for Meetings and LNO: Help set-up, provide snacks and drinks, and clean-up.
Social Committee/Day Trips/Outings: Assist with organization of social gatherings.
Book Club: Assist with book club gatherings.
Twin Maples House/Organization: Assist with house rental inquiries.
Adopt-A-Class: Classroom visitation to an elementary school in Newark. Usually six visits per school year.
Spelling Bee: Help organize an annual Spelling Bee held with 4th and 5th grade students in Summit.
Special Events/Fundraising: Help organize events that are either “clubraisers” or fundraisers.
Community Service/Volunteer: Help organize volunteer events for club members to participate in.
Twin Maples Grounds: Assist with planning and planning of Twin Maples grounds.

Thursday, November 17th – Quartet Shopping Night Thursday, December 8th – Holiday Luncheon, Twin Maples, 11:30AM – 2:30PM
